Car Alarms: door trigger, nissan skyline, pin switch

im hookiing up a steel mate 888 alarm to my 1990 nissan skyline. when i hook up the negative triger for the door and set the alarm all i get when i open the door is a clicking sound like a relay in the alarm box, and the alarm doesnt go off.

I don't have the wiring for this car, but you need to go to the dome light wire that shows 12 volts when you press in the door pin switch. That is usually found at the fuse box, or at the pin switch directly.

I would think it's they're job to assist you on the
installation of they're products.
