Car Alarms: Car alarm, jeep grand cherokee, remote keyless entry

I bought a used 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee it has a factory alarm and I have no car manual, How do I shut it down and how do I activate it. Thank You. My radio has gone haywire since it went off.

Nope, this one is out of my pervue.
My forte' is in aftermarket alarms.
I can however, tell you how to permanatnly
disable the factory alarm though.

Find the Factory Disarm wire VIOLET/YELLOW (-) IN
THE DRIVER'S KICK PANEL IN A "BLACK PLUG". Then
using a simular size wire, splice into it, and
then ground it to the chassis.
This'll take care of the factory alarm for good.

Then I strongly suggest you get a decent
aftermaket system to protect the vehicle, adds
remote keyless entry, starter kill etc...
