Car Alarms: Help Identifying alarm system installed, shock sensor, sensor model

Question
Thank your for your time. What info about the system would you need in order to be able to identify it? The chip inside maybe?

Thanks again,
Lee

Hi there,

I need to identify the alarm system that it's been installed on the car I just bought. I looked at the main unit of the alarm system and I couldn't find any words except for MADE IN TAIWAN. Here are the wires that the black box has: the big connector has about 12 wires and on the wire adaptor it says "AXEDO  H09". On other side of the box it has the following adaptors: beginning from the closest one to the big connector (and going up, on the left side) white connector with  1 green wire and 1 red wire; next connector is blue and it has 1 gray/silver wire and 1 gray wire; white connector with 1 red wire and 1 blue wire; white connector with 1 red/black wire, 1 green wire and 1 red wire . I also noticed a SHOCK SENSOR model KS-9492 (it has 2 LEDs: 1 red and 1 green ) and its wires are: 1 blue, 1 green , 1 black and 1 red. There is also a red LED that that shows when the alarm is active/not active, and a small black push-button   (the one that is used to turn off the alarm when taking the car in for service- on other car of mine I'll have to press and hold it for 5 seconds, alarm beeps...) installed in the same small case with a flip on/off switch. I noticed that the red LED blinks 3 times - 1 sec off -3 times - 1 sec off - 3 times.... when the alarm is disarmed. Also, to arm the alarm I have to lock the doors using the key on the driver's side! To unlock and disarm the alarm I use the key on the driver's side only, otherwise it will trigger the alarm. The alarm also locks all doors as soon as I start the engine , and unlocks them when turning off the engine.
The problem is that I don't have a remote nor a user manual for this system. Can you identify the system form this description? If you need additional info please let me know.

Thank you in advance for your help,
Lee

No sorry, I can't tell you what that system might be.
Try to ID it at www.REMOTESUNLIMITED.com

Best suggestion though is to replace it with something
new, that you understand from the beginning.
It would make for a better/safer overall security
experience.

Good hunting,

Answer
Look for anything that would have an FCC ID. #
This is really the only way I know of to pinpoint
the system. You need to be as exact as possible
so the remotes you aquire will be the matching set,
and will program to your alarm's CPU.
