Car Alarms: alaram wont work, valet mode, batteries

Question
I recently turned my alarm back on after getting batteries for my remote but when I turned it on it will not work. What do I need to do to fix it? I have an autopage remote which it seems like it is working.

Too many out there to know really.
You probably need to take the alarm out of
valet mode, or reprogram the remote.

I don't have either bit of information however.
You need to contact Autopage (now DEI )
for help on that.
