Car Alarms: viper 500 esp, ford ranger xlt, power door locks

i installed power door locks to my alarm but i cant get the alarm programmed to lock and unlock the doors. the locks will not stay down to lock, they go down but come right back up. can you help me program my alarm so that it just locks and unlocks the door nothin fancy? i have a 1993 ford ranger xlt.

Answer
The connector on the door lock rod (s) is too tight.
Undo all of the actuators, and then unlock all
the doors involved. Then tighten them all
at the same time so that they work in union.

Once done, then you should be just fine.
