Car Alarms: Recommend a car alarm?, power locks, perimiter

Hi.  I have a small, soft-top convertible.  It currently has a dealer installed alarm from 1992 and it is very outdated and breaking down.  I have heavily modified the car, and I've been thinking how easy it would be for someone to break into it.  

Could you recommend an alarm that has at least 2 remotes, 2 sirens (one for inside to deafen a thief, one for outside), and a perimeter sensor?  Any additional features don't matter, unless you highly recommend something particular?  Also, I don't have or want power locks.

I have heard so many reviews on many alarms and I just can't decide.  Avital looked good to me, but I found few reviews.  What do you think?

  something to protect it, but let's not get crazy
about it. Ok, I can do this for you.
Avital is an ok system. Harder to install then most,
but a decent, average type of system. You will
still need to add to it to get all you wanted.
Onething though. If you have'nt seen my selection,
I carry equipment that way outperforms DEI stuff.

I am NOT a huge fan of the overpiced and marked up systems.
My take on security is the reasons you buy and install
and alarm. Protection from thieves.
Not so much the biggest sellers, orbest marketed
alarms etc... I've been doing this a long time
and I can tell you what works best.

In this case, I am leaning towards the following
alarm package for your car.
1 ASTRA 777 paging alarm. (see at www.pagingalarm.com)
1 starter kill relay and socket
1 interior pizzo sensor
1 2 stage microwave motion sensor (perimiter)
for a total of 159.00 + shipping.

This gives you everything you will want
or need in a total ssytem to protect the new
modifications, and you car install it painlessly
with the wiring chart (free when equip. is purchased)
of your car. With some simple tools, you
can do this yourself, with me on the phone
or online to sort out any troubles you run into.
