Car Alarms: car alarm, fuse box, electrical trouble

Question
Hello,
I have a '97 ford explorer .Recently I replaced the bulbs in the dash board. After that my alarm doesn't work and the starter kill alarm the same also.I have the factory installed system.I already checked all the fuses and still doesn't work even the relay under the hood.
Please help me with this.
Thank you.......

Answer
I don't do electrical trouble shooting as a rule, but you must
have shorted out the circuit that controls those devices.
Best suggestion I have for you is to check each fuse in the main fuse box under the hood of the vehicle. I am
willing to bet that one of the bigger fuses was zapped.

Also check the underdash fuse box as well. Somewhere though
you have a high energy short, or incomplete circuit.

Good hunting.
