Car Alarms: amplifier installation in hybrid, amplifier installation, toyota prius

Have you installed any aftermarket amplifiers in the new toyota prius'.  I have one coming in next week and have been looking into the electrical system and so far have come up with that I need a 14.4V regulator and possibly another battery in order to power the amplifier I am adding for 2 subs.  Any ideas? I know it's got an auxillary battery in the back trunk but I don't know if I can tap into that.
