Car Alarms: Alarm Dilemma, key fobs, pontiac grand prix

Question
First of all I think it is very admirable that you assist us non-technical folks on a volunteer basis. Thanks

I have read through some responses on battery replacement for cars with alarms. My problem is that I cannot find a valet switch on a 1994 Pontiac Grand Prix to disable the alarm and the 2 key fobs are 200 miles away in my daughters purse at college. She hasn't used the alarm for a while now. She needs the car to get back to school but it won't start after replacing the dead battery. What options do I have? Can I disconnect the entire Viper alarm that has been on the car since 1992? Can I just simply remove the power connection? Or I am I asking for too much of a headache? This car was bought used so I don't even know the model number.

Please help me get my daughter back to school.

Answer
Sorry for the snafu on the "Mustang note"
But it applies to the Grand Prix 94 as well.

In this case, fing the YELLOW or PURPLE wire in the
ignition harness and follow the same procedure.
(very busy night.)

Again, sorry for the mis communication.
