Car Alarms: Remote Start/Shock Sensor Not Operational, shock sensor, pin switch

Question
I'm installing a Commando ProStart 3300 onto my 95 Dodge Intrepid. The lock/unlock and arm/disarm features and the trunk release feature works. The remote start does not yet work however. The shock sensor also doesn't work even with the intensity all the way up.
When I arm the system, it chirps 3 times. It's only supposed to chirp once, and 3 times indicates that a door, trunk, or hood is open. I tested every door on the car. Each one sets off the alarm when opened. I don't yet have a hood pin switch installed and havn't connected a trunk pin sensor.
There's 2 door trigger wires on the alarm kit. One is for negative doors, which I connected, and the other is for positive doors, which I have left alone. Does that possibly need to be grounded?

Thanks a bunch!

Answer
Sorry Matt, I don't do this system here. Not a real
fan of it either, but I did forward your question
to the tech office at Commando for consideration.
They do not always respond however. Best bet
is to call them at 1 800 780-1409 ext 200
for assistance.

It appears though, that you may have shorted
out a circuit from your explaination, that caused
other problems down the line.
Just a guess in this case
again since I am not there to inspect
it fisrt hand.

But I will let them go over it with you.
Afterall, it's always best to talk directly
to the people you bought it from for support
on it.

Give them a call.
