Car Alarms: AST 440 - help, alarm triggers for no reason!, valet mode, keyless entry system

Question
I just had this AST 440 alarm/keyless entry system installed in my 2003 Dodge Dakota and the alarm goes off for no reason about 1 minute after being armed.  I tried disabling the shock sensor, didn't help.  Disabled the voltage sensing, didn't help either.  The only way to keep it from going off constantly is to put it in Valet mode.  Before I take it back to the shop, is there anything you think I should try?  Maybe I'm just not doing something right?

Answer
Well, I'm betting the installer
did not do the door triggers correctly.
No surprise really considering this vehicle
has 2 that need to be addressed.

The driver door trigger is tan in
connector 2, pin 15.
The passenger door trigger
(and rears on the 4dr)
is tan/red
in connector 2, pin 13.
Use both and diode isolate each.
(SEE DIODE ISOLATION AT WWW.RELAYHELP.COM)

Take these notes to him and
then have him make the correction.
That should stop the open circuit signal
that is making your life hard right now.

Let me know how it goes.
