Car Alarms: Alarm problems, ford mustang v6, shock sensor

Question
I drive a 2003 Ford Mustang V6, and recently I had a K-9 Mundial 2 alarm installed. The problem is that the alarm keeps going off every 30 to 40 minutes for no reason. I have already tried lowering the sensitivity and I even went as far as disconnecting the shock sensor but it still goes off for no reason every 30 to 40 minutes. HELP!!! How can I fix this?

Answer
Sorry, but it's installed incorrectly.
You would need to contact your dealer
to get the proper wiring information to bypass the
GEM module and to turn off the current sensor that is
picking up the diagnostic the car puts out.
This diagnostic is setting off the alarm in the
Mustang.
Unfortunately however, I only provide my
installation services at this level of assistance,
to my equipment buying consumers, as it is the
responsibility of the seller (OMEGA),
to provide the installation assistance
for they're products. I do not have a working knowledge
of they're equipment since I don't sell that companies
products. Try going to www.caralarm.com for help with
your piece. (be aware though, the tech support at OMEGA
is not the best. Horrible support to the end user.
You may get the run around.
Go back to the people you bought it from
for faster answers.)

Good luck with it.
