Car Alarms: passkey II decoder module bypass, pontiac firebird, chevy dealership

Question
Is there anyway to bypass the factory installed passkey II decoder module, which keeps the car from starting, without replacing it as it is very expensive?  My husband has rewired everything to where we are getting the starter to turn over, spark/fire, and fuel, but the car still won't start.  Please help if you can.  Oh, my car is a 1993 Pontiac Firebird/Trans AM, 5.7liter engine, automatic.

yes there is but it's not easy.

to see how to do it and safely.

You would need to add a simple aftermarket alarm/keyless
system to make it all work, but tht's ok, you would
need that anyway. Other then that, it's the chevy
dealership and parts. (way too much money)
