QuestionI was rear-ended (the brakes failed on the other car). There was no visible damage on the outside, however now my car alarm no longer works. It will not lock the doors and the car alarm light does not come on. Its a 1997 honda civic ex coupe. Has a wire just come loose or do you think the damage is worse? How do I fix it myself? Its not a factory installed alarm.
I bought the car last year and there is very, very slight damage to the rear from a previous rear-ending (that happened before I bought it).
