Car Alarms: Micro 6008, pontiac grand prix, alarmtek

I have a Micro 6008 car alarm installed in my '98 Pontiac grand prix.   It has a power trunk but when the alarm was installed it was never included or hooked up.   I would like to try and utilize this function if possible but i do not know what it is I have to do to get it to work.  If you could provide a solution I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

You will need a relay and the GRAY wire on the small
2 pin plug (gray and gray/white are the second and
third channels) and then to the trunk release wire at the switch in the car.
