I just noticed on www.caralarmz.com the 'no code no start blacklit keypad' the great theft deterent that requires a 4-digit code.
would this work with an installed 601-S car alarm system, and manual transmission ?

Yep, sure can add that to the mix with the 601s. It
would however be redundent here, since the 601 has built in
starter kill, but the bottom line is yes, sure you can.

Yep. And yes the "M" unit with the clutch bypass and safety start procedures is the best way to go here. Plus no holes installation on the combo antenna/LEDS/VALET switch is trick too. Great range.
