Car Alarms: car alarm, dash area, squeel

hello i have a mazda with a delta car alarm model number da 280 a
i last week disconected the battery and upon re- connection the alarm lets out a squeel and flashes the ligts every thirty seconds
it apears to need re setting can you help ?

Ok, don't panic. Try this.
Look under the dash area, maybe to the left
foot area in the plastic, for a button/switch
that does not look like the OEM factory equipment.

Now put the key in the ignition, and turn forward
all the way just before cranking. Then within
5 seconds, press and hold in the button until
the installed LED (the blinking light)
in your dash area comes on solid.

This should be valet. This overides
the starter kill relay in the alarm harness,
and returns the car back to disarmed mode.

The only thing that will work now on your system,
is the keyless entry if installed.

Just Repeat these steps to rearm your system.

That should do it.
