Car Alarms: TACH Information, pin switch, remote starter

I want to install Alarm system in my Caprice 1983...it has a tac connection..but i dont know where i can find the Tach wire in my car?

2nd my doors have triggers. should i install the additionla triggers came with system or use old one?

For an alarm. Tach in not necessary. If trying to add remote starter, you would need a carborator kit. Your vehicle is not fuel injected, and a remote starter will not work on it without a carb. kit.

The door triggers, mean the wire in this car that comes on when the pin switch in the door is depressed. You attatch the (-) door tigger input wire on your alarm system
directly to the pin switch in the drivers side door.
