Car Alarms: car alarm problems, car electrics, wiring connections

Question
i have an autowatch car alarm fitted to my honda recently iv been having problems, my alarm still works but it will no longer open or close the central locking.I have removed the door panel and checked all the wiring connections. i am unable to get 12v to the piston that locks and unlocks the door. i have checked all the fuses i can find all seem to be ok i am unsure of car electrics and may be missing something. any help would be greatly appreciated

Answer
Well Tom,
It sounds as if there is a burnt relay or
fusable link that was powering the door actuator.
Trace back from the door lock motor itself in
the door, to the Autowatch alarm system. If it's
acentral locking system, there will be a junction box
plugged into the alarm brain that controls that. If
it's only 1 door lock actuator, then you will have
2 relays and they will need to be checked for voltage.
But in most instances, it's a control fuse or a fuse
that is inline on the door lock outputs that is burnt.

Let me know what you find.
