I have a 94 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo that has a factory tape player/radio, I tried to hook up a cd player but get no sound from any speakers except for my sub.... I haven't disconnected any thing just bought the harness adapter and hooked it up and no sound....

Hi Anthony,

What type of CD player are you trying to put in?  An aftermarket?  If so, what brand?  Are you getting power to the new unit at all?  If your Jeep has the 'Infinity' stereo option, there's another wire you need to hook up to make the factory amplifier turn on.

On the harness that you bought to integrate the new unit to your car, there should be a blue wire.  Hook this up to the aftermarket deck's 'remote turn on' wire.

If this info doesn't get you going, ask a followup question with the extra info I need, and I'll see if I can get it figured out.
