Car Stereos: audio, jeep grand cherokee, power antenna

1994 jeep grand cherokee i install the harness' wired the sony deck to it; the radio plays i have sound but the cd and aux plays but there is no sound from it your help would be greatly appreciated       rolly

Hi Rolly,

Make sure you have everything wired right -- perhaps you have something wired to your 'power antenna' incorrectly, which is causing the amp only to get power when it's in radio mode.

Alternatively, check the deck settings to see if it has the ability to turn on/off the amplifier on a source-by-source basis.
