Car Stereos: Car radio and clock will not work, hyundai santa fe, blown fuses

I have a 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe when my battery died the person that tried to put it in blew the main fuse to the car. Have a new fuse and battery and now the radio and clock doesn't work. My question is this something that can be fix or do I have to get a new radio?

I'm guessing they either connected the negative and positive near the battery, or installed the battery backwards.

You probably have more blown fuses.  Go through the car and test them all.  Replace as necessary.

That's the most likely scenario.

Only then should you look at replacement.
