Car Stereos: replacing radio, jeep grand cherokee laredo, jeep grand cherokee

i have a 97 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo with the infinity gold package and the Kenwood 6 cd changer. i don't have a radio in it now but i want to put a Sony xplod radio in it. if i put in in the car, can i still use the cd changer? or do i have to do something special to it to get it to work?

Hi Austin,

I am not aware of any hardware that would be able to maintain your cd changer functionality as it stands.  You'd either have to buy another changer, or go without.

Most new CD decks can play MP3s anyway, so you can easily rip those 6 CDs (and dozens more), and put them onto an MP3 CD instead.
