Car Stereos: no power locks, fuse box, power locks

After installing my new indash stereo.  My driver side electric window(only this one),power locks and key flob lock will not work

Hi Rick,

Sorry about the delay in answering your question.  I'm guessing there's a good chance you've gotten your problem fixed by now, but if not, the first thing I'd do is check all the vehicle fuses, including any fuse box located under the hood.  If you have a digital multimeter available, there's a quick method of testing fuses without the need to remove them from the fuse box:

Another possibility is that you've inadvertently tapped into a data wire, which can affect many other vehicle accessories.  More and more manufacturers are linking the factory radio to the vehicle's data bus system, and it's important to avoid these wires when you're installing a new head unit.
