Car Stereos: Bose stereo in Maxima, disc changer, cd r discs

Question
I've been experiencing halted play on cds when playing ones I burn at home. I have a six disc changer and each disc will begin to skip at about the 6th or 7th track. Also my left front speaker will go in and out either with acceleration or turns. What might be causing these issues?

I had the same problem with my maxima, and I bought the more expensive gold backed cd-r discs.  That solved the problem for me.  I had heard the dark green backs are harder for the players to read, so I tried the lighter ones and my problem was solved.  Hope this helps, Scott
