Car Stereos: hey, sony xplod, factory speakers

hey i have a sony xplod and i wanted to know if you recommend me installing it or or taking it somewhere i dont know how to install it and i dont wanna mess it up but agian i dont wanna pay money for something that seem so simple what should i do and also i want make my car sound louder and at the same time make it sound good i dont know nothing about this so can you send me some good links or good info i dont even know what amplifiers do thats how lost i am please help

Kenny,  There is a little bit of work involved in installing an amplifier.  I would suggest paying someone to install it for you and mounting it where you want it.  It will cost about $50 and you know it will be done properly.  Second, If you are using the amp to make your car's speakers louder, you will probably end up blowing the factory speakers.  You should be prepared to replace the factory speakers.  That should be the first thing you do anyways.  hope this helps, scott
