Car Stereos: stereo, blown fuses, blown fuse

i just hooked up my sub and amp to my stock ford truck 2004 and eberything was workin fine the i lost all power to my amp but the stereo and everything else works fine. im not getting power from my ground or 12 vlt but everything is hooked up no busted fuses on amp or 12 vlt gauge wire? i dk

It sounds like a loose wire somewhere.  If not a loose wire, then there is a blown fuse somewhere.  If no blown fuses, the amp may have shorted internally.  You may want to have it tested, if all connections have been verified.  Hope this helps, Scott
