Car Stereos: 2005 Pontiac Vibe radio, 2005 pontiac vibe, pontiac vibe

Question
Hello there, I have sirius radio plugged into lighter socket and while driving I noticed there was no power. I pressed a button on my radio to change the station and it went off as well.  If it is a fuse, how do I go about changing it?  I don't know where to find the fuse. Thanx :0)

Answer
Melissa, Fuseblocks are normally located on the drivers side of the interior under the dash, sometimes there is a removeable panel on the side of the dash next to the door, and the fuseblock is behind that.  You will probably find a blown fuse that needs to be replaced.  However, there may also be something else wrong that has caused the fuse to blow.  You can replace the fuse.  If the fuse blows again, there is probably a short somewhere that needs to be identified and repaired before the system will work properly again.  Hope this helps, Scott
