Car Stereos: Fader , Balance problems, rca cables, hi adam

I just installed a stereo system in my car , which has 2 amplifiers , 1 subwoofer and 6 speakers .. i used one amp for the front 2 speakers and sub , and the other amp for the rear 4 speakers .. now the problem is that with my deck i cant control the fade front /rear or balance right /left .. when i put fade rear it just makes the subwoofer work and if i put it to front it makes the speakers work.. and the balance is just weird.. can you help me out?

Hi Adam,

The likely scenario is that you just have some wires flipped around.  Your best bet is to disconnect all the incoming RCAs, and then set your deck to output front left only.  Then, plug in your RCA cables until you have only sound coming out the front left.

Repeat until all 4 channels are done.
