Car Stereos: 2006 g6, stock radio, market radio

how can u keep the display info on the g6 stereo when installing an after market radio because its part of the factory stereo.

Hi Tyler,

You'd need to purchase a special radio mounting kit that includes a built-in information display, along with the circuitry to work with the vehicle's data bus system.  Right now, the only such kit I know of is made by Metra; the part number is 99-3303.  It's not cheap, but it's the only way to keep the information display working if you replace the stock radio.
