Car Stereos: replace door speakers, mounting bracket, avalanche

How do you take the triangle piece off the drivers door and door panel on 2004 Avalanche.

Russell, Most door panels and partial panels just pop off.  The problem is that the mounting points are very weak, and break easily.  I recommend using a special tool to reach in under the panel to the mounting bracket to keep the bracket from breaking.  Then, there are a couple of screws that will need to be removed, and that is it.  Hope this helps, Scott
