Attention all 2002 models: Chrysler changed main connectors and antenna plug in the middle of 2002. It's very important that you verify plugs configuration. Old plugs used to be - two 7-pin each black and gray connectors and standard size one pin antenna plug. This player has new style single gray color connector with 22-pin main and 10-pin CD changer plugs. Also, new style small antenna plug.

Answer
Hi,

You can purchase an after-market adapter harness that will fit the plug on the back of your head unit.  Look for a Metra 71-6502-1,  or a Scosche CR02RB.  Either of these will fit the main plug on your deck; there may also be a separate 2-pin plug, but it's not required for head unit operation.   The wire colors with the harness won't match the vehicle wire colors, but instead will match the after-market wire standard.

Note that this radio also uses an antenna connection that's different from the standard "Motorola" plug used by most after-market head units.  If you're using it with a typical automotive AM/FM antenna, you'll need a Metra 40-CR20 (or Scosche CRARB) antenna adapter.

Hope this helps!

Brian
