Car Stereos: red light on amp stays on, led lights, red light

The red light stays on my 800w amplifier. The blue LED lights come on but I am not getting any sound. Is there something I can do to fix this problem?

Heather, The red light usually means there is some sort of problem, and the amp is not starting until the problem is fixed.  It could be a number of things.  Bad connections, bad ground, miswired, etc.. The best fix is to double check the entire installation.  I have a feeling you will find the problem during the double check.  Hope this helps, Scott
