Car Stereos: kenwood cd reciever, yellow wires, electronics repair

my stereo has power going in but does not come on i have checked fuses power source is there another fuse or something i can check model  #316-S i was listening to it it was fine then just off

If both red and yellow wires have power, and are connected tightly, you should check the ground wire and be sure it is connected securely to a good ground point.  Many times a ground wire will get loose or will corrode just enough to cause bad connection.  If the ground is tight and clean, the problem may an internal short.  If that is the case, the stereo will have to be removed and taken to an electronics repair shop to make the internal repairs.  Hope this helps, Scott
