Car Stereos: Installing amp and subs in 2003 chevy malibu, chevy malibu, gonna hook

Hi. I don't know anything about car audio. I was gonna hook up and amp and subs into my 2003 chevy Malibu but I need RCA jacks and was wondering does that malibu's stock radio have the plugins for that?

Kevin, No the stereo does not have the right plugs for that.  What you need to do is buy an amp with speaker level inputs, or buy a signal converter.  The signal converter will convert speaker level wires to RCA level plugs.  Either way, you just splice into the rear deck speaker wires to give signal to the amp.  Hope this helps, Scott
