Car Stereos: re:4 gauge amplifier lead routing, firewall check, jeep liberty

i want to route my 4 gauge power lead from the battery down the drivers side of my 2006 jeep liberty and want to know where the best place is to go through the firewall...is there a gommet i can go through...really dont want to drill a hole...some pictures i saw show the wire going under the master cylinder...

Jason,  All existing holes are used for one thing or another.  The best thing to do is to find a grommet that fits your wire snugly.  Once you have the grommet, check and see what size of hole it requires to fit in.  Then, find a spot on the firewall.  Check inside and outside, and be sure there are no obstructions at the point you pick out.  Then, using the appropriately sized drillbit, drill your hole.  Be sure and file down the jagged edges of the hole.  Then insert the grommet.  Then, insert the wire.  It is pretty easy.  Hope this helps, Scott
