Car Stereos: installing amp/sub to stock 04 malibu factory deck, kenwood kac, rear speakers

is there a way of bypassing removing too many parts on the interior to hook up a amp remote wire to the factory deck and as well as the RCA's and what adapters would i need for this? i have a kenwood kac-9104d model amplifier, what's my best option?

Hi Brian,

If you're hooking up to a factory deck, it's not likely to have a 'remote ' wire anyway.

Your best bet is to pick up a high level speaker output converter.  Then you can just tap into the wires going to your rear speakers, saving you on too much trim removal, and run the remote and RCAs off of that.
