Car Stereos: issues with complete system shut down, infinity subwoofer, kenwood radio

i have recently installed  new kenwood radio ,new kac-8104d amp,Capacitor 1.0 farad,and 2,12"infinity subwoofer.
i have a trouble when i turn the volume high like more then 30 the system turns off complete and restarts
i have checked everything all the cables installed very tightly.
can u help me with this i would really appreciate

Hi Fahim,

There's one of four things going on here.  I'll list them in the order of most likely to least likely.

#1: Thermal protection shutdown.  A piece of hardware in the system is overheating from the higher volume, and shutting itself down to protect itself.  Find out specifically which piece of hardware is shutting down, and check.  If it's an amp it will probably have a 'protect' light that will light up if this happens.

#2: You're drawing too much power from the system, and the voltage is dropping too much.  This causes the deck to freak out and shut itself off to save itself from burning.

#3: There is a loose wire somewhere and you didn't catch it.

#4: You have bad hardware somewhere, and it has a faulty solder joint that is losing its connection when higher amounts of electricity are expected to go through it.
