Car Stereos: sub, proper connections, amp

Question
i just wired up my amp and sub and it all worked before but i mightve wired it wrong nt sure, the bass keeps hitting on its own tempo not with the music at all. ????

Rob, it sounds like you may have a crossed wire, or a short somewhere.  Unhook it immediately and check all wiring.  Make sure all wires are going to the proper connections.  If you are unsure, you can write back and tell me what you have, and I will walk you through it.  Hope this helps, Scott
