Car Stereos: head unit, car audio accessories, mounting brackets

I want to put the Dual XHD7714 in my 1995 Toyota Tacoma extended cab. it has the pocket below the factory head unit and i was wondering what i would need to install it and make it fit. i need to know mounting kits, harnesses, adapters, etc.

Hi Tyler,

You don't need any sort of mounting kit to install the new head unit into your Tacoma.  The Dual XHD7714 is the same size as your factory radio, and can be mounted the same way using the existing mounting brackets.  The factory pocket can remain in place below the radio (or can be moved above the radio, if you prefer).  

The only part you will need is a wire harness adapter.  The Metra part number for the adapter is 70-1761.  This is the standard Toyota adapter that's been used for many years, so you should be able to find one (Metra or another brand) at just about any store that sells car audio accessories.
