Car Stereos: car stereo, chevy camaro, evail

I have a 2001 Chevy Camaro.  The battery was disconnected and now my Monsoon stero is locked.  We have tried everything to no evail.  There is no code on the back of the radio, and I even tried to create a code.  I bought the car used, so there wasn't even an owner's manual.  I managed to find the instructions on line, but that did not work either.  Help!

Martin, There were many radios, around that era, that required a trip to the service department to get unlocked.  Yeah, not a very good option.  Anyways, you should be able to talk with your local dealer's service department, and ask them if you need to bring it in.  Hope this helps, Scott
