Car Stereos: 2004 Grand Am Monsoon eject not working on CD Player, factory radio, butter knife

I have a 2004 Grand Am Monsoon factory radio.  Everything on the radio works fine and the CD player plays the CD that is stuck in it.  The eject button won't eject the CD, it just clicks.  Is there a way to fix this eject button on the CD player?

There is a way to repair the eject problem, but it should be done by a professional.  If you are just going to replace the stereo with a new one, you can sometimes get a butter knife in alongside the cd and sort of pry it out carefully.  If not, just remove the whole stereo and take it into a repair shop, and they will fix it for you.  Hope this helps, Scott
