Car Stereos: the 2000 buick lesabre stereo, 2000 buick lesabre, gmrc

now, do i have to have the GMRC-04 to hook the stereo up, or do u think that just using the wiring harness would work??

Colin,  If your car has odd chimes to alert door ajar or other messages, then it is imperative that you use the GMRC-04 adapter for your car.  Also, If you are using Onstar, you will need to keep the original stereo to keep the service.  If you are not in need of special door chimes, etc, you may use a plain wiring adapter, but it is not recommended.  I would use the special adapter.  Hope this helps, Scott
