hi i seen another guy ask a question about what E4 meant when it came up after inserting his burnt cd and thought u might be able to help me mine was working fine playing all cds and then all of a sudden started saying E1 and just ejects the cd i also dont have an instruction manual if u have any ideas about what this might mean it would be much appreciated

I might be able to find you an instruction manual, or find out the meaning of the error code, but first I'd need to know the brand and model number of your CD player.

Generally, if a CD player suddenly stops working with any CD, that's usually an indicator of an internal mechanical problem with the player.  Whatever the error code tells you, chances are you'll need to have the unit serviced.
