Car Stereos: 92 saturn stereo/wiring, pioneer stereo, stereo wiring

i am attemting to install a pioneer stereo in my 92 saturn....   after removing the factory iwas (am)unable to install,WITH POWER ,either deck. factory deck gets static/squack;pioneernothing.power yet no power?  please help

Kris,  It sounds most likely to be a bad ground.  Attach a wire nearby to a piece of metal and use it for your ground wire.  If that is not the problem, you need to double check all of your wires and be sure they are all connected properly.  Then, check all fuses, and be sure they are all good.  That should cure the problem.  Hope this helps, Scott
