Car Stereos: electrical issues, electrical issues, stereo shop

hi, so i've been trying to get my new deck installed and i had someone i knew, who thought they knew what they were doing, install it. he cut the stock harnesses off and just wired the stereo wires to the deck. therefore, some stuff didnt work (key remote, alarm) so i had him re-wire my stocks back on. i have, since then, bought a harness to connect the stocks to so there were no cut wires, and now there is no power at all to the stereo. ive replaced fuses and now i just dont know what to do exactly. nothing has been working. can you help?

At this point I'd probably suggest having the system done at a car stereo shop.

I don't know what kind of car you have, so I can't give you more specific help than to check the fuses, and make sure the wires all match up correctly.
