Question
so i just got a 2000 ford explorer xlt... and i took out the factory deck and was trying to put in a sony explode gt630 but when i tried to plug in the power cord no power was showing up on the stereo and i plugged it into the factory stereo and the same problem existed... please help

Answer
Corey,  If the OEM stereo worked before you removed it, and now after the changeover and back, the OEM stereo does not work.  It sounds like maybe a fuse is blown.  Check all your fuses in the fusebox, and that should fix the problem.  If not, there may be another fuse, under the hood blown, or a fusible link wire may be fried.  Most likely it is just a fuse.  Hope this helps, Scott
