Car Stereos: gm radio, cassette radio, cd cassette

I have a 1998 z71chevy pickup with a stock am/fm cd/cassette radio.My problem is the right side wont lite up.Left side you can see all the functions.Go to change a song on the cd at nite'and you cant see the arrows

Mike,  there are lights inside your radio, much like the lights behind your dash and A/C controls.  Probably a bulb has burned out on the right side.  The problem is that the light is inside the radio.  You must remove the radio from the truck, then take it to a repair shop to have the bulb replaced for about $50.  Or, if you are fairly mechanical, you can open up the radio yourself and replace the bulb yourself.  If you do, you must be very careful not to force anything and remember how it goes together.  Hope this helps, Scott
