Car Stereos: dashboard lights, kicker cvr, fuse panels

ok i have a question......i put two kicker cvr in my 2003 gmc envoy. the radio was working just fine them all the sudden shut off and didnt wanna come back on. i checced my wiring harnest and i have no hot wire..but i did then i hooked the radio up to the hot wire then the subs werent workin right. so i wiggles my remote wire for my amp and my dashboard light went out. i thought it could be a problem with my fuse but i dont even have a fuse for the dashboard or any kinda interior lights that i kno of.... do u think u could help me with this problem?????

Hi Marcus,

Your car most certainly has a dashboard fuse somewhere, you just need to locate it.  Most cars now have TWO fuse panels.  One in the dash near the driver/steering column, and one under the hood.  Check all of those fuses, you've almost certainly popped one.
