this car has a factory infinity system in it with amp and I have read some of your answers, and have a harness to convert my aftermarket deck. the deck turns on and I have power but there is no sound from the speakers. my deck is a JVC and has a normal AC out but only two plugs the harness comes with four ac outs and im confused.. ha i hope this makes sense i need serious help

Hi Stephen,

I'm not sure what you mean by AC.  Do you mean RCAs?

Basically, you have to make sure you have the right harness for your system.  It's specific to the Infinity systems.  The harness looks like this:

Then you plug the harness into the DIN from the car, and plug the RCAs into the deck's outputs.  If the deck only has two plugs out, then you'll need to put a splitter on it, and connect them that way, but be warned: you'll lose your fader.

Your alternate choice is to buy a high level to low level output adapter, and use it, which will keep your fader.
